Michelle and Morris’s Destination Wedding In Punta Canta

One of the dreamiest weddings this year was Michelle and Morris’s destination celebration in Punta Canta, Dominican Republic.

This couple celebrated their love story that goes back to when they met over two decades ago with a white-themed rehearsal dinner, boat party and the highlight of the trip, the gorgeous wedding ceremony and reception. Wedding planner Ria Martinez from Events with Ri designed and executed every day to perfection so the couple could enjoy every precious moment with their loved ones.

On the wedding day, the bride got ready at Punta Cana Onyx Resort with her bridal party, doing her own make-up since she is a professional MUA and hairstyling by Aubrey Loots. Thoughtful gifts for the bridal party, crystal bejeweled Jimmy Choos and imported florals were the start of the beautiful details to photograph this sunny day.

Meanwhile, the boys were getting ready and decided to add some humor with a fake first look set up to help calm Morris’s nerves. He was laughing uncontrollably when one of his groomsmen arrived dressed in a white dress and veil. They enjoyed drinks and had heaps of photos taken before going to the beach to greet the guests.

At the ceremony on the pristine beach, Morris finally saw his gorgeous bride as she was escorted down the white aisle by her proud parents. They held hands as they exchanged their loving vows in front of their friends and family. Michelle’s long veil floated with the help of the gentle sea breeze and a floral garland bound them to symbolize their everlasting bond and exchanged wedding rings. Then they kissed as they were announced as man and wife by the officiant. Joyfully dancing down the aisle, we had time for gorgeous beach photos with the couple and all their tribe.

Afterward the lovely group celebrated Michelle and Morris’s love story with speeches, dancing, dinner, drinks, the bouquet toss and cake cutting. It was one of the best tropical weddings ever, with energetic, happy people all gathered in a truly stunning Caribbean destination.
